Alma/Bacon Fire and EMS

The Alma-Bacon County Fire Department serving the citizens of Alma and Bacon County is a combination career/volunteer department responsible for protecting the lives and property of approximately 12,000 combined city and county residents along with their guests while traveling and visiting our community. The Alma/Bacon County Fire Department protects approximately 285 square miles comprised of seven fire stations city and county wide. We also provide mutual and automatic aid to our neighboring counties. The Alma/Bacon County Fire Department's current ISO rating is a 5/9.

The Alma/Bacon County Fire Department is partially funded by the City of Alma and under the direction of the Bacon County Board of Commissioners.
