GA Power presents Franchise Fee check to City of Alma

City Manager Al Crace accepted on behalf of the City of Alma a Franchise Fee Check from Georgia Power, presented by Brent James (GA Power Area Manager) for $221.390.09.

Franchise Fees are fees Georgia Power pays to municipalities where it has franchise agreements to serve customers in their jurisdictions. It's set at 4% by state law and represents the amount Georgia Power collects and pass through to the town or city. Georgia Power does not keep any of the money.
