Frances Tobler
District 2 Councilperson

Mrs. Tobler was first elected to City Council in 2000. She currently serves as Mayor Pro-Tem. She has earned a Certificate of Excellence in Government from the Carl L. Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia. 

Mrs. Tobler graduated from Bacon County High School. She has attended Albany State College and Georgia Southern University among other schools. She reitred in June of 2008 from Banker's Data Services in Alma. She is a member of Greater Saint James Baptist Church. Mrs. Tobler is married to James E. Tobler, has three children, and nine grandchildren. She enjoys serving the people, reading, and doing what she can to make her community a better place to live.
