Rosie Williams
District 1 Councilperson

Ms. Williams was first elected to the City Council in 2002 and served for two consecutive terms. She has earned a Certificate of Achievement in Government from the Carl L. Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia. Ms. Williams has also completed the Leadership Course offered by the Institute at UGA. Ms. Williams serves as liason to the City Council for the City of Alma Housing Authority. 

Ms. Williams recieved her early education from the Bacon County School System. She graduated from Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, FL. Shortly thereafter she returned to Georgia.

Ms. Williams is employed by Medical Transit Service. She enjoys working in the yard, traveling, and spending time with son and grandson.
