Whether its attending the Day of the Child in April, the Georgia Blueberry Festival in June, the Big Buck Contest in October, or any other event, the City of Alma has plenty of activities for people of all ages to come and be a part of throughout the year. In addition to numerous events, the City of Alma has opportunities for people to experience the agricultural pride our community has by visiting local farms and seeing the products first hand. Our University of Georgia Agricultural Research Center has a research farm and post-harvest area that visitors can tour. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the hunting, fishing, and golfing opportunities in our community. Our downtown has a theatre with year-round productions from our local high school and various other production groups. Our downtown is scheduled to be enhanced in the coming months through a Transportation Enhancement Grant that will provide a new look to the area. No matter what your interests may be, we're sure you'll find something that will keep you coming back to the City of Alma!
