Purchase Order System

Each purchase that the City of Alma makes requires a purchase order number. Please contact Sheila Whitley at 912-632-8072 to obtain a purchase order number.

License

Business license applications are mailed out each November for the following year. The application and fee is due January 1st of the following year. Licenses are considered deliquent on March 15th. There is a 10% fee applied to the license if it is deliquent.

Peddler's license are issued on a daily basis, 14 day basis, or a yearly basis. The following fees became effective in May of 2009:
