Chief of Police

Chief Sellers was appointed to serve as Police Chief for the City of Alma in December 2009. Chief Sellers has served as a law enforcement officer for over 10 years and has held positions as a Patrol Officer, K-9 Officer, Drug Task Force Agent, and Patrol Lieutenant. Chief Sellers has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia Military College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia College and State University. He is a P.O.S.T. certified General, Firearms, and Speed Detection Instructor.

Chief Sellers is a member of the Alma Lions Club, Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, Georgia Narcotics Officer's Association, Georgia Peace Officer's Association, and Southern States Police Benevolent Association.
