Rose Hill Cemetary
History
The Alma Land and Improvement Company purchased the farm land of Mr. Jackson G. Rigdon in 1906. The land was surveyed and divided into lots in order for the town to grow in an orderly manner. The Rigdon Family Cemetary was expanded to become the Alma Cemetary, which eventually changed and it is now known as Rose Hill Cemetary.
Mr. Jackson G. (J.G.) Rigdon is buried here in the area designated by the cemetary's census as "Gb." It is possible to identify the original cemetary because its graves are arranged at a somewhat northeast angle to the other graves in the cemetary.
