Carl has been with the City of Alma for approximately 15 years. During that time, Carl worked on the public works crew for 6 years and served as a crew leader for 4 years. After serving as a crew leader, Carl was appointed to the position of Public Works Director.

Carl also serves as the Safety Coordinator for the city conducting safety meetings and self safety inspections. Carl has been certified in flagger training, liftstation repair, and confined space entry.
