City Manager
Nick has served as the City Manager of Alma since September of 2008. He is a member of the Georgia City County Manager's Association (GCCMA) and the International City Manager's Association (ICMA). He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (2001) and a Master of Public Administration degree (2002), both from Valdosta State University.
Nick provides leadership by administering the goals, policies, and visions that are recommended by the City Council. Nick oversees the day-to-day operations of the city. He manages the budget, directs department heads, and makes sure that the city's employees are providing a high level of service in a cost-effective manner. As City Manager, Nick also serves as a liason between the City Council and the community. He provides an open line of communication between the City Council and the citizens of the City of Alma so that citizen needs are addressed in a timely manner.
Nick is married, a member of the Alma Lions Club, and enjoys coaching little league baseball at the Alma Bacon County Recreation Department during his spare time.
